The world governing body of cricket, International Cricket Council (ICC), has secured numerous sponsorship deals for the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Let’s take a look at the sponsors of the ongoing mega event:

Global Partners:

The ICC announced that the Japanese-based multinational automobile manufacturing company, Nissan, as a worldwide partner of the tournament. The two sides first signed an eight-year deal in 2015 and this event is part of the deal.

Alongside Nissan, the organizers even brought in a Chinese telecommunications company, Oppoin the same sponsorship package.

Other sponsors in this category include Bira91, MRF, Booking.com, PARJU’S, Emirates and Aramco.

Official Beverage Partner:

ICC, in this category, has collaborated with an American multinational beverage company, Coca Cola. In this partnership, Coca-Cola will have its sub-brand product, Cheer, as an official non-alcoholic beverage partner.

Official crypto partner:

The world cricket body has engaged in the Bahamas cryptocurrency exchange, FTXas an official cryptocurrency partner.

Official Fantasy Game Partner:

ICC has also partnered with an Indian fantasy sports platform, Dream11, as an official fantasy game partner. The two parties involved signed an agreement in 2018.

ICC also appealed to other sponsors such as Upstox, king deer, Jacob’s Stream, EatFit, fancrazePeters ice cream and Tyka.
