Formula 1’s Australian Grand Prix has announced the return of Rolex as title sponsor for next season’s race.
The Swiss watchmaker was previously title sponsor between 2013 and 2020, and currently holds the position of Worldwide Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of Formula 1.
After two years of calendar shutdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Australian Grand Prix returned this season sponsored by Heineken, which was recently announced as the first title sponsor of next season’s first Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The length of the title sponsorship deal is unclear, but the Australian Grand Prix recently announced a ten year contract remain on the Formula 1 calendar until 2035.
“Given the brand’s previous eight-year partnership with the Australian Grand Prix, we are delighted to welcome Rolex back as Title Partner of Formula 1’s Australian Grand Prix in 2023,” said Andrew. Westacott, chief executive of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

“After an outstanding comeback in 2022, we are ready for an even better world-class event in 2023. Fans will be treated to four days of the best in motorsport, entertainment and hospitality, and we look forward to welcoming them. back on the Albert Park Grand Prix circuit.
The 2023 event is part of Formula 1 24 record races next season and will take place from March 30 to April 2.
