BADC Awards 2022

The Brisbane Advertising and Design Club (BADC) has welcomed back video ad serving gurus Peach as platinum sponsor and presenting partner of Brisbane’s only Creative Advertising and Design Awards.

Brisbane’s creative community will gather for their annual gala evening – this year themed let the games begin – October 22 to celebrate the power of Brisbane’s creative industry.

Brisbane content agency Light and Shade are also returning as sponsors of the ever-popular after party.

BADC Chairman Stuart Myerscough said: “We are delighted to have Peach backing us again.

“The quality of the applications received set a very high standard and created quite a challenge for our jury again this year.

“We are thrilled with the support and response to all of our events this year from our local creative community.”

Peach’s Business Development Manager, APAC, Lauren Yelavich, said: “Queensland is a key market for us and we are delighted to partner with and support BADC and the wider industry for another year and we are delighted to see the high quality submissions Queensland creatives are known for. .”

Content production group Eric, Tom & Bruce joined the team as Gold sponsors this year, joining long-time Gold sponsors Cutting Edge, O’Brien Accountants and DMCG Global.

The Jury 2022 is made up of 42 experts from across the industry who have been tasked with curating a field of high-quality entries.

The President of the Jury and President of the Jury for 2022 is Andy Flemming, Chief Creative Officer at 72andSunny, who is considered one of Australia’s best copywriters and his infamous Cannes newspaper is now one of the highlights of the festival.

Flemming said, “This is my fourth time judging BADC and it’s always a pleasure. The judges are always the best names and the work is excellent. Brisbane’s advertising scene is thriving.

“Good advertisements and a tropical climate? You bastards. »
