A Bolton-based electrical appliance retailer has become the main sponsor of the reigning netball champions.

AO is now the main sponsor of Netball Super League champions Manchester Thunder.

The partnership will see the AO brand integrated across the vast range of Manchester Thunder assets, from the front of NSL dresses and training kit to matchday pitch and associated on-pitch assets.

It will also help the team, and netball as a whole, take steps towards full professionalism, as well as provide financial security to allow them to invest in long-term plans.

Manchester Thunder chief executive Debbie Hallas said: “We are delighted to have secured the sponsorship of such a prestigious brand as AO.

“This partnership cements our vision to be the best elite netball club in the UK, on ​​and off the pitch and we are delighted to be associated with AO.
