Crawfordsville Community Club to Sponsor Halloween Costume Party


The Crawfordsville Community Club is sponsoring a Halloween costume party at the Crawfordsville Fire Station on Monday evening, October 31 starting at 5:30 p.m. K-12 will be judged with an open class and overall champion.

Refreshments of donuts and milk will be served after judging.

Following the Trick or Treating party will take place. Residents are encouraged to leave their porch lights on to greet those going door-to-door.


Crawfordsville United Church will be hosting a harvest dinner and auction on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The service will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Creamed chicken and cookies, beef burgers, as well as baked beans, potato salad, fries and desserts are on the menu.

FreeWill Offering will be taken for supper. You can dine there or perform.

The auction will start at 7 p.m. with cereal, crafts, baked goods and more. Come join the brotherhood!


Joe, Alice and Lara Hochstetler spent the weekend attending sporting events in Indiana. They left on Friday and went to see their granddaughter and niece, Greta Hochstetler’s volleyball tournament on Saturday. Greta is the daughter of JB and Carla Hochstetler of Syracuse, IN. Sunday they went to a pumpkin patch with Grady, the son of Matt and Ilona Roberts of Milford, IN and Monday night they attended the Mussie Hochstetler football game. Grady and Mussie are the grandsons and nephews of the Hochstetlers.
