Dead On Tools, which sponsored the No. 02 Our Motorsports entry in last season’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Martinsville Speedway, will return to the organization as a sponsor of Anthony Alfredo and the No. #23 in the Dead On Tools 250 at Martinsville Speedway.
Dead On is delighted the 23-year-old is driving his car in the race of which he is the authorized sponsor.
“We are very pleased to partner with Anthony for the Dead On Tools 250,” said Brian Ranallo, Marketing Manager, Dead On Tools. “Anthony is a fantastic driver and we can’t wait to see him drive the #23 Chevrolet from Dead On Tools at The Paperclip.”
For Alfredo, who scored his first career pole and one top five, three top 10s and 15th in the drivers standings this season, he is ready to represent the professional tool distributor for the first time.
“It’s always cool to represent a new partner, but to do so in their title chase makes it even more important,” Alfredo said in a team statement. “We had a solid run in Martinsville in the spring and we’re looking forward to building on that momentum in the fall.”
Alfredo earned a solid 14th place finish at Martinsville Speedway in his only career start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the half-mile track in Virginia. Alfredo averaged 23.0 in two NASCAR Cup Series starts at Martinsville, and given that he reached the NASCAR National Series with short-track experience, Alfredo should have another strong run in a few weeks.
The Dead On Tools 250 at Martinsville Speedway will take place on Saturday, October 29 and will have TV coverage on NBC starting at 3:00 p.m. ET.
