The past two years have been productive for Formula E team Envision Racing, despite the difficult trading climate and the departure of former co-owner Virgin as title sponsor at the end of the 2020-21 season.
The team claims to be on track to earn €47.5 million ($49.7 million) in sponsorship revenue over the three-year period from 2020 to 2023.
James Mercer, Commercial Director of Envision Racing says SportBusiness this represents the most successful period in the team’s history in terms of sponsorship revenue, despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic.
