FAW / Dragon Signs becomes official sponsor of the Amateur Trophy

The Football Association of Wales is delighted to announce that Dragon Signs will become the first official sponsor of the FAW Amateur Trophy for the next four seasons.

The partnership, which will continue until at least the end of the 2025/26 season, will see the competition renamed Dragon Signs Amateur Trophy with immediate effect.

Dragons Signs has been the official signage supplier to the FAW since 2020, providing branding at fields and training facilities across the country. The Cardiff-based company supply and install all types of signage across Wales and the UK and have over 30 years of experience supporting organisations.

The Dragon Signs Amateur Trophy is open to clubs playing in the Ardal (Tier 3) leagues and below, with 249 teams taking part in the competition this season.

The 2022/23 competition kicked off on Friday September 2 and 123 first-round fixtures were played across the opening weekend.

“This sponsorship seemed perfect for Dragon to be able to give something back to the fantastic amateur clubs of Wales. We are really delighted to see this competition develop and grow.”
