Walmart becomes title sponsor of OZCX Weekenda festival-style event that will bring another world-famous cycle race to Fayetteville.

From October 14-16, OZCX weekend will bring the world’s top cyclists to the region for the 2022 Walmart UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup, along with fun racing opportunities for kids, families, local cyclists from all levels and corporate teams. . Racing will take place on the purpose-built cyclo-cross course at Fayetteville Centennial Park.

Cyclo-cross is a unique cycling discipline that integrates road cycling, mountain biking and steeplechase. The three days of racing and events will kick off with internationally sanctioned elite-level racing on Friday, followed by a full day of amateur racing on Saturday and culminating in the 2022 Walmart UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup race. sunday. In addition to cycling events, guests of all ages can enjoy food trucks, concerts, and other activities.

All revenue generated from ticket sales will be donated to Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale.
