Fifa revenue hit $7.5 billion for Qatar 2022 cycle, late signings top sponsor list | SportBusiness

Fifa’s revenue for the four-year cycle around the 2022 World Cup is expected to be more than $1 billion (€977m) higher than forecast as it fills the Qatar 2022 sponsorship portfolio with three late additions.

Speaking at the Fifa Executive Summit on the eve of Qatar 2022 yesterday (Sunday), Fifa President Gianni Infantino underlined the heightened expectations of the cycle leading up to the tournament.
