MotoGP and Animoca Brands agree sponsorship deal for four races

The partnership covers the Australian and Aragon Grands Prix this season and two more in 2023.

MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports and Animoca Brands have announced a partnership that will see the metaverse specialist become the title sponsor of races in Australia and Aragon this season, plus two more events in 2023.

Animoca Brands became a MotoGP partner in 2019, when it secured the development rights for the first MotoGP non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The two partners are also working on MotoGP Ignition, a MotoGP-based competitive management and collectible gaming platform that is part of the Revv Motorsport gaming and earning ecosystem. MotoGP Ignition is designed to deliver branded experiences centered around limited-edition NFTs, with a platform where users can trade digital collectibles, as well as participate in card-based fantasy sports or card games. sophisticated race management.

The MotoGP Ignition NFT Collection and Marketplace is available now, with gaming experiences due to launch later this year.
