New National Sponsor NZDIA Boosts Participant Success

Following the path to success in the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards (NZDIA) program has become more exciting with the announcement of a new national sponsor.

The Managing Director of NZDIA is delighted to welcome Trelleborg/TRS to the family of National Sponsors and looks forward to working with the manufacturer of agricultural and industrial tires and wheels.

The prestigious awards program encourages best practices, celebrates and showcases the best in our dairy industry.

Participants connect, learn and grow as individuals in three categories, Dairy Trainees, Dairy Managers and Share Farmers. Farm owners are recognized with the Fonterra Responsible Dairying Award.

“I was intrigued to learn more about the Trelleborg brand and now know that it is an important global organization offering many solutions in the agricultural industry as well as many more,” says Robin .

Trelleborg acquired New Zealand tire distributor TRS Tire and Wheel Ltd in 2018 and also distributes the better known Mitas brand in the dairy industry, used for tractors and implements looking to raise their profile within the industry dairy and rural communities.

Robin says he was interested to know more about their reader’s productivity. “I was particularly interested in their load calculator and tire optimization program which gives optimum tire pressure for optimum fuel consumption, ground pressure and longevity.”
