A WINCHESTER-based company will provide financial support for the upcoming Winchester Royals season to try and give back to the community.
The Winchester Royals women’s basketball team was sponsored by a local telecommunications consultancy, Kid-A. The sponsorship, which will see Kid-A featured on the team’s kit, will ensure that financial support is given to the Royals for their next season.
The Winchester Royals currently compete in the Wessex Basketball League. Player Natalie Smyth said: “We are thrilled to have Kid-A as a full member of our team. It makes every member of our 30-person team feel special. We look forward to wearing the Kid-A logo on our kit with pride.”
