Philip White Tires is the proud sponsor of the event for a fight night in support of the recovery and treatment of two young “warriors” from Armagh this Saturday night.
Well-respected family business Armagh has backed the event – which takes place at the Madden Community Center – which aims to raise funds for 11-year-old Theo Smyth and 3-year-old Frankie Rooney, who have both been diagnosed with leukemia earlier. This year.
The event is run by Armagh boxing trainer Sean Duffy who knows the young boys’ parents personally and was only too happy to help.
Liam White, Director of Philip White Tyres, said: “The event Sean is organizing is a fantastic evening uniting the local community in support of the two warriors of Armagh, Theo and Frankie.
“As a local business we have never been shy about supporting the boxing event and we wish Sean and the D-Boxing team every success on the night and our best wishes to Theo and Frankie then that they continue their treatment.”
Sean added: “We are delighted to have Philip White Tires on board as the title sponsor of our Night of Boxing in aid of the two warriors of Armagh. Tickets are still available at the gymnasium and we are hoping for a busy and enjoyable evening at the Madden Community Center on Saturday.
“A Night of Boxing to Benefit the Two Warriors of Armagh” will take place at the Madden Community Center on November 26, and ticket sales and donations can be made through D-Box promotions on both Facebook and instagram.
