Rainier Hair Studio: Welcome, new sponsor of the West Seattle blog!

Today we welcome a new WSB sponsor, Rainier Hair Studio. WSB’s new sponsors have the opportunity to tell you about themselves; Here is what Rainier Hair Studio wants you to know:

Rainier Hair Studio finally opened its doors after entering the old Illusions space at 5619 California SW. Rainier is a gender-neutral studio that focuses on inclusion and community. Megane. the owner, grew up in West Seattle and her son currently attends West Seattle High School. She’s been in the industry for over 20 years, doing everything from festivals to weddings to skin fades, and excels with the little ones.

Her passion in the new studio is to provide a space for growth and support for her staff, while giving back to the community and creating a space where everyone is assured of quality hairdressing service in a welcoming environment. This includes providing a safe space for clients, whether it’s having their hair cut in a private room or simply our caring nature – stylists who listen, specialize and care. Megan says, “What I’ve learned with COVID (restrictions) is how much I’ve connected with my clients and their families and now I plan to honor that in the new space. to make everyone who walks through the doors feel comfortable, from the 2-year-old’s first haircut to Grandma’s 100th haircut and everyone in between. I always say a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet and I bring that vibe into my customer experience. Rainier Hair Studio will also give back to the community, by joining The Beyond Projectwhich focuses on connecting stylists with volunteer opportunities that matter to them, starting with an event in collaboration with the host community.

Rainier Hair Studio has three extremely talented artists joining the shop: Katherinepreviously at Cutz, specializing in dimensional curls and blondes; Crystal, previously at Rudy, specializing in cropped haircuts; and Marjorie de Baballouise, who is a master of bright colors. Come experience the space for yourself and meet the new team, Saturday, October 8, 4-8 p.m. – they’ll be having a ‘welcome to the neighborhood’ party and can’t wait to see you. You can also book on rainierhairstudio.com if you are ready today.
