“We share common philosophies of partnering for success, investing in our community, and positive employee engagement, and we look forward to working with Kinaxis for many years to come.”

Kinaxis felt the Senators were a good fit with the company’s brand and it’s believed to be a seven-figure deal.

“It’s a privilege to partner with such an incredible team,” said John Sicard, CEO of Kinaxis. “Like the Senators, Kinaxis has a long history with Ottawa and we are honored to support the community where many of our employees live and work.

“Being deeply embedded in the region, Kinaxis is committed to engaging and giving back through partnerships that generate community pride.”

The club is one of many NHL players still trying to find a jersey sponsor, which the league has allowed this season. The space did not go as well as the league expected and only around a third of the teams were able to secure a shirt sponsor.

The Canadiens sport the RBC logo at home but not on the road while the Toronto Maple Leafs have struck a deal with Ontario dairy farmers.

Former Senators Captain Daniel Alfredson will be joined by close friends at the Hockey Hall of Fame weekend next month in Toronto.

The day before his induction into the Temple, Alfredsson, 49, will dress for the team (Carpet) sundin in the Hyundai Hall of Fame Legends Classic at Scotiabank Arena.

The Senators will retire three goaltenders in the East, but we’ll have to see what happens.

Anton Forsberg and newly acquired Magnus Hellberg will travel to Newfoundland and Labrador and New Brunswick for both Kraft Hockeyville games.

The club will then have to decide whether to bring Kevin Mandolese, Mads Sogaard Where Anthony Bibeau. The Senators were supposed to dress Bibeau as a substitute in Montreal on Tuesday night, but he was sick. As a result, Mandolese was called back to be the emergency caretaker.

Sogaard disguised himself as a substitute against the Habs.

The decision on the third goalkeeper is in the hands of the general manager Pierre Dorion, GM helpers Thirty Man and Ryan Bowness, as well as the rest of the staff. It makes sense that 21-year-old Sogaard is playing so he can be sent to Belleville.

“We certainly have a lot of faith in Sogaard,” the coach said. DJ Smith. “But there is still a lot of development process for him. This is something that Pierre and the management team are going to have to consider. They will do what is best for its development.

We focused a lot on the first two lines of the club, but the center Shane Pinto looked good with Mathieu-Joseph and Tyler Motte throughout the exhibition program.

Pinto missed most of last season with a shoulder injury and has been one of the club’s most consistent players. He needs to continue that in the regular season, but there’s no reason to believe that won’t be the case.

Line mates complement each other.

“A lot of the credit goes to (Pinto) and how well he played,” Smith said. “But also a guy like Motte who plays the right way and Joseph has all that speed.

“It’s heartwarming and it’s been the most successful line at five-on-five because they’re playing the right way and they’ve had the most chances.”
