Children’s Law Center, Inc. (CLC), a nonprofit legal services center protecting the rights of children and youth, will host a Brunch Boots, Bourbon and Cookies support vital CLC services in our community. The CLC is recognized locally and nationally for its advocacy in the education system, the child protection system and the justice system.

For more than 30 years, CLC has provided high quality legal representation, policy research and community education, to help young people transition into adulthood in safe and healthy ways. CLC serves more than 400 young people each year in Kentucky and Ohio, while working with organizations nationwide.

“We hope to raise funds so we can continue to represent victims of child abuse and crime, protect the education rights of students with disabilities, remove barriers to employment and housing for young people, and so much more,” says CLC Executive Director Sasha Naiman. “The need for CLC services has increased. We are working to meet this need with the help of our community.

The event will take place on October 29, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Receptions Event Hall (1379 Donaldson Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018). Tickets and sponsorships are on sale at https://www.childrenslawky.org/boots-bourbon-and-biscuits.

This event will feature live music from Marty and Geo from the Marty Connor Bandanimations of Showboat saboteurs, and Big Dave from B105.1 as master of ceremonies. There will also be a full brunch with a delicious cookie bar, silent auction, bourbon tasting, open bar and VIP lounge!
