Tottenham Hotspur have been in talks with Google over potential sponsorship of their £1billion stadium.
The north London club were seeking a long-term deal worth more than £25million a year and have spoken to a number of big companies including Uber, FedEx and Amazon over the three years since followed their move into their new home.
While no deal with Google is close, it would be an interesting step for the tech company to align with a club rather than a league. They have deals with the NBA and MLB in the US, although in March they announced a multi-year partnership with McLaren Racing as the new Formula 1 and MX Extreme E team partner.
