St Thomas Mission Society to sponsor 25 Naga Christian students

Dimapur, October 5 (MExN): Hail Grace Dr Joseph Mar Dionysius, Archbishop of the Diocese of Calcutta under the Syrian Orthodox Church of Malankara will undertake an “Apostolic Visit” to Nagaland from October 7-9. During the visit, Dr. Joseph will be presiding over the second graduation program at MGM College, Dimapur. Mohammed Ali Shihab IAS, Secretary of Energy Department, Government of Nagaland will be the main guest.

A press release from MGM College said Dr Joseph is the president of St Thomas Mission Society Dimapur. “As per His Grace’s decision, the society will sponsor 25 Naga Christian students to pursue Engineering studies (B.Tech and M.Tech) at Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) Bhilai, Chhattisgarh for the current session “, did he declare.

For more information, aspirants can contact Fr. Dr. PS Varghese, Principal of MGM College or interested students and their parents can also meet with Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysiyus on October 8-9 at MGM College.

The Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET) is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai.

Students can register their name at MGM College, a sister institution of CCET, Bhilai.
