Tuesday Headlines: Sponsor an Edition for Kentucky Flood Victims

Kentucky fans got their first glimpse of this year’s men’s and women’s basketball teams last Friday at the annual Big Blue Madness kick-off event. Next weekend, they’ll see another preview at the annual Blue-White game. Although this year, this match will not be played in the Rupp Arena.

Instead, the Blue-White match will take place at the Appalachian Wireless Arena in Pikeville, KY. The scrum will be played Saturday evening at 6 p.m. This is an effort to draw support for eastern Kentucky flood victims who were affected by the natural disaster in late July.

Sponsorship is $100 and information can be found directly at this link. Speak kentucky.gov website, more than $9.7 million has already been raised, including more than $3.65 million committed to Kentuckians and families.
